Whether at professional sporting events, the Olympics or an everyday run, ASICS is the runners choice providing superior comfort and support. Beyond running, their range includes Football and Rugby shoes with injury prevention technologies, technical superiority and rigorous quality that is unmatched.
RetailMotion was tasked with integrating a digital signage solution in the new ASCIS Brisbane flagship store to capture customers attention and drive store traffic. We designed and developed a large format 3×3 video wall mounted at the storefront entrance, as well as an additional column mounted screen located at the point of sale.
Our digital signage captures the attention of pedestrian traffic. It draws them into the store with engaging content whilst the in-store screens communicate new and special offers to customers, driving sales. We integrated the system with the store sound system, allowing specific content to play sound as required and enhancing the overall customer experience.
We faced our challenges with a tight budget and short available time frame to complete the fit-out. Together we worked around the clock to be ready on time for the store’s grand opening. Our impressive digital signage works seamlessly to complement the overall in-store customer journey. ASICS was extremely happy with the result, and this opened up another opportunity for RetailMotion to work with Onitsuka Tiger, which is another global sneaker brand owned by ASICS.

Knowledge that drives business decisions
ASICS was expanding into their own retail stores and needed to have accurate store count to measure the effectiveness of their various marketing activities. The job for RetailMotion was to provide a precise analytics people counting system that could be integrated with their internal business intelligence tools to help them manage store performance. We designed and installed 3D sensor technology for the ASICS stores and built a custom API to plug into their business systems to automatically provide store traffic on an hourly basis. We also provide the backend infrastructure to secure all the anonymous information as well as ongoing technical and customer phone support for the entire system. RetailMotion has been working with ASICS for a number of years, ensuring their analytics system is always operating successfully.
